Stuff I read. In the spirit of 'small internet' an ever growing list of blogs and other 'old school' websites I like a lot.
Blogs
Robert Birming If you've spend any more than a few minutes around Bear, I'm not sure this needs an introduction. Blogs about the world, making blogging and Bear better and general writing encouragement.
Imperfect Other than Robert, one of very few bloggers writing about blogging I'll read. Mostly because he's extremely insightful.
Online Goddess A 'bloggy' blog by an English lady, calming, insightful, sad, informative, great design. Generally one of the few personal blogs I read.
The Shoebox A collection of thoughts and essays from a dusty old shoebox. Is how its described. Not sure I can add more, very well written.
History was weird
The Past unfiltered
Curious Turnip
A blog on largely the small facets of Medieval history. The author keeps changing this blog, I really hope they keeps writing (and publishes the article on boundary stones again (if they see this) ). Great history blog if a little annoying to have to keep finding it.
The Naturalists Rabbit Hole A beautiful blog with excellent content - especially on plants.
Websites
Great English Churches What the internet used to be and what made it great. A one man labour of love website on English churches. Makes me very happy.
Megalithic Portal The venerable Megalithic Portal - a hugely important worldwide database of ancient sites combined with some still interesting discussions on the forum.
